Chinese Larimar is NOT Larimar! Larimar only comes from the Dominican Republic. This stone, better known as Hemimorphite, can often look very similar to Larimar and is often mistaken as such. Hemimorphite is a stone of empathy and compassion. It is believed to help aid in the communication of feelings and regulation of inner emotions. It is associated with the heart, throat, and third eye chakras, and although it is not the ever-coveted Larimar from the Dominican Republic it is still a very beautiful and powerful stone.
